The Malaysian Mensa Admission Test
Individuals who are interested in becoming a member of the Malaysian Mensa are welcomed to sit for the Malaysian Mensa Admission Test throughout the year. If you score at or above the 98th percentile on this test, you will qualify and be invited to join the society. Membership is only open to qualified individuals residing in Malaysia.

What you need to know about the Mensa Admission Test:
- The test is culture fair and is only designed for individuals age 14 and above. For candidates who are 13 years and below, please refer to our Gifted Children page for further information.
- One (1) hour, including test briefing.
- For Malaysians, please bring your ORIGINAL MyKad/IC for identification. For non-Malaysians, please bring your ORIGINAL passport.
- Test Officers have the right to deny entry if original document is not present.
- Rescheduling is not allowed allowed. The fee will be forfeited if you fail to turn up for the test.
- Please be informed that in alignment with the direction of the International Supervisory Psychologist of Mensa International to maintain the confidentiality of the test, test scores will not be provided. Only the results of qualification into the society will be provided.
- Please do NOT contact the testing venue for enquiries about the test. The Malaysian Mensa reserves the right to deny candidate entry to the test. Please contact admin@mensa.my for any enquiries.
Before the test
- All times and dates for the tests are at the bottom of this page. Please refer to them before registering.
- Register for the test and pay online using the form below. Walk-in individuals will not be entertained.
- The fee for the Mensa Admission Test is RM50.
- An Official Receipt from the Malaysian Mensa Society will be emailed to the email that you have provided.
- Registration will close by 12pm noon; the week before the test.
After the test
- Results will be emailed to candidates within 6 to 8 weeks. The process of marking and preparing results (as well as invitation to join the society) is undertaken by the Testing Proctor.
- Testing Officers and the Administrative Office DO NOT have access to candidates’ results.
